The BC-HIS exam spans 5 domains: Assess patient presenting problem and needs (25% of the exam); Test and analyze patient hearing (25% of the exam); Prescribe and analyze hearing instruments (25% of the exam); Fit, adjust, program and service hearing instruments and equipment (15% of the exam); Counseling and rehabilitation (10% of the exam). The domains are not weighted equally on the exam.
